Research and development is carried out in cooperation with the Prague Klokner Institute (CTU) and the co-financing of the European Union (European Regional Development Fund) – the registration number of the application for financial support is CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/16_045/0009224.
The subject of the project is the purchase of consulting, expert and support services from the research organisation regarding development of new profile of the trapezoidal sheet in the form of load bending and tensile tests, which will verify the qualities of the new profile in the monitored factors. Research results will show the basis for static evaluation and design rules for correct use of the new profile.
The project deals with the research and development of a new profile of the bearing trapezoidal sheet CB 150/290, which will be used to expand and improve the current range of basic trapezoidal profiles, used extensively in the building industry, especially in the field of construction of industrial, warehouse and commercial buildings in load bearing structures flat roofs.
The aim of the project is to introduce a brand new, market-inaccessible type of trapezoidal sheet profile. The research will provide a procedure for the efficient static design of this trapezoidal sheet and will strengthen the competitiveness of the company. The advantage will be also the effective shape profile utilisation, regarding sheet width, which reduces the total amount of material (sheets) necessary for the realisation of the given building (roof). Overall, all of this leads to cost savings for the construction, production, transport and, therefore, the cost of the product.
